Collection: Moldavite
Moldavite is a rare natural impact glass formed approximately 15 million years ago when a massive meteorite struck what is now southern Germany. The tremendous heat and energy of the impact melted terrestrial rock, ejecting molten material high into the atmosphere before it cooled and fell across parts of Central Europe, primarily the Czech Republic.
Prized for its distinctive olive-green colour, sculptured surface texture and fascinating extraterrestrial origin, Moldavite is highly sought after by mineral collectors, meteorite enthusiasts and natural history museums. Every genuine Moldavite specimen is unique in shape and texture, making it one of the world's most recognisable natural impact materials.
