This intricate specimen of blue chalcedony which looks like filigree was found in the state of Maharashtra in the town of Aurangabad in India. The white modernite is a secondary mineral which was formed on top of the blue chalcedony. Most of the Times these specimens are found as floaters in the cavityies in the quarries surrounding Aurangabad
