An Enchodus fossil tooth is a preserved tooth from an extinct predatory marine fish that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 66–100 million years ago.
Enchodus is often called the “saber-toothed herring” due to its long, prominent fangs. The teeth are typically slender, sharply pointed, and slightly curved, designed for gripping prey.
These fossil teeth are commonly found in marine sedimentary deposits, especially in Morocco, and display natural shades of brown, beige, or dark gray due to mineralization over time.
